Plans are well ahead to set up a National Events and Convention Bureau by the second
half of 2011. This is according to Thandiwe January-McLean, chief executive officer
of SA Tourism, speaking at a media briefing held alongside the Society for Incentive
& Travel Executives conference (Site), which took place at the Cape Town International
Convention Centre recently.
